Leo con Lula is an app designed to teach reading to individuals who require a globalized approach to acquiring this skill, such as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Methodologically, it is conceived to facilitate errorless learning by using visual aids that guide the process in a simple and effective manner. It offers numerous customization options for personalized use by each individual user created (multiple users can be set up within the same application).

The vocabulary can be tailored based on the user's interests and objectives, directly selected from ARASAAC (www.arasaac.org) or SOYY VISUAl (www.soyvisual.org), allowing the choice of images that are most representative for each individual.

The exercises are structured around three phases: word-image matching with visual word support, word-image matching without written support, and syllabic segmentation with varying levels of assistance. It also includes a fourth section that enables the use of tangible elements through printing QR code cards, providing a more interactive experience between the physical and virtual worlds.

Noteworthy are the options for managing backups via iTunes or Dropbox, which facilitate the sharing of resources across different devices.
